Super Smash Bros. Melee: Review This is the sequel to Super Smash Bros. for the N64. Released on the GC it is one of the best fighting games (in my humble opinion) ever made. There are an endless amount of new features from the original, such as the Home-Run contest, the Adventure Mode, the All-Star Mode, and even more. Gameplay: 8/10 It's just fun. Some parts are a bit easy but ther are many challenging things to make up for it. Graphics: 10/10 The GameCube's abilities are shown in this game. Very smooth graphics a HUGE difference from the original SSB on the N64, which looks extremly blocky and rough after you've play this for a while. Sound: 9/10 Awesome tracks. I personally enjoyed the Hyrule Temple and the Fire Emblem themes the most. As well as the other themes which are nice to listen to as well. Longevity: 10/10 11 unlockable characters, a ton of trophies to win, 50+ event matches, Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, All-Star Mode, and even more! This game will last for a while, to say the least. Buy or Rent? Buy, it will NOT be a waste of your money. |
